Rev. Dr. Kenneth R. Washington

Dr. Washington received a Bachelor of Science Degree from The University of Houston in 1978.  He was granted the Degree of Master of Divinity at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in May 1996.  The Degree of Doctor of Ministry was conferred upon him in May 2000 from Houston Graduate School of Theology.

In October 1996, he was established as Pastor of First New Hope Bible Church. In obedience to God, he came to Northwest Houston and located 5.92 acres of land, which the church acquired and is the present location of FNHBC and INCOP.

Dr. Washington is the devoted husband of Karen and the father of four girls: Bianca, Brandi, Khaila, and Kiirah. Retired from regular employment, Dr. Washington has committed himself to the work of the ministry and is the full time Pastor of First New Hope Bible Church. He continues to tutor students at Nitsch Elementary School as part of the church's Outreach Program
